Do you offer private lessons?
The lessons that we offer are small group lessons. Similar in size to those lessons that take place in school, usually 3-6 people. Lessons take place once a week for 30 minutes. If you are interested in Private Lessons, please contact the camp director for some suggested teachers.

Who should I send the registration to?
During the school year, Arlington residents may give the registration form to your child's band or orchestra teacher at school. After the last day of school, or other district residents, registrations should be mailed to Arlington High School c/o Arlington Band Boosters.

Where does camp take place?
Summer Band & Orchestra is at Arlington High School. AHS is located at 1157 Route 55 in LaGrangeville, NY.

What's the difference between the band/orchestra rehearsal and lessons?
The band or orchestra rehearsal takes place everyday during the week and consists of the various instruments together. Such as what you would see at a concert. The small group lessons usually run 3-7 students of same or similar instruments. They run for 30 minutes, once a week.

Can we just show up on the first day and bring in the registration?
We encourage parents to register their child as early as possible.  This way we have the appropriate material ready for everyone. If you need to register on·site, please contact the camp director as some weeks do fill up early.

My son/daughter had so much fun they would like to come again. Can we add additional weeks once camp has started?
Yes, we love to see young people excited about playing their instrument. Please see the camp director about adding additional weeks.

How much is the camp?
It is our belief to make this program affordable for all, The Elementary programs are; only $20 per week for each the large group rehearsals, and $10 per week for small group lessons. The Junior High Band program is only $10 per week and includes a snack for the break time.

How do I get the Pre-Register Discount?
When you submit your registration (either to your teacher, or my mail) BEFORE SATURDAY. JUNE 1st, you are eligible for the 25% discount off of the large group rehearsal. Due to the new lower cost of lessons, this discount is not applicable to the lessons registration. Please subtract the discount from your payment.

Are there any scholarships available?
