The elementary Summer Band program is for those students (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba and Percussion) in grades four through six, runs in the mornings for five weeks. Students may choose from any or all of the six weeks offered. Students may choose from any or all of the six weeks offered. The program is non-sequential so students to come later in the summer will not miss out on material or lessons, (only the fun!!)
Summer Band keeps your child's interest up by providing daily experiences playing their instruments with classmates and students from around Arlington and throughout the Hudson Valley.
Band and orchestra rehearsals will take place every day 9:00-10:00AM (M, T, W, Th.) Group music lessons are also offered for those students interested in additional instruction.

Group lessons are an excellent opportunity for youngsters to have that special help back and be so beneficial. Summer lessons tend to be similar sized or smaller to the lesson groups during the school year. Lessons take place once a week for 30 minutes and occur in the late morning after the band/orchestra rehearsal.
Post cards, with your child’s lesson day and time, will be mailed home a week before camp begins. |
