This summer we will again be offering the Junior High Summer Band camp for those students to play in a band instrument, FINISHING SIXTH to NINTH GRADE in June 2026. (Sixth graders with only 1-2 years of playing experience should register for our Mon-Thurs morning or Week 9 sessions.)
This program provides a wonderful opportunity for those students who wish to continue playing during the summer months. All while keeping a fun, laid-back environment.
Playing throughout the summer can do much to keep your child's interest in playing his or her instrument. Participation can also help avoid a great amount of regression caused by the long vacation. In addition to the students having the opportunity to have musical enrichment, it is also a great opportunity to socialize with friends and have fun.
Summer Band for students finishing 6th Grade (in June 2026) with 3 years of playing experience, meets on Tuesday evenings for most of the summer. Rehearsals will run from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and meets at Arlington High School. 6th grade students with limited experience/skills should register for the Mon-Thurs morning / week 9 sessions.
Summer Band for students finishing 7th-9th Grade (in June 2026) meets on Monday evenings for most of the summer. Rehearsals will run from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and meets at Arlington High School.
In order to make this program self-supporting, it is necessary to charge her participation fee of $10 per week. ($7.50 if you register before May 1.) This fee should be paid in advance and returned with the registration form. Registration fees may be paid in cash or by check payable to Arlington Band Boosters Inc. Print a registration form HERE. It is our belief to make this program affordable for all, we continue to keep our low pricing structure that we have had for almost 60 years.
